What is SampleSort?
SampleSort is a powerful utility application to help you organise and catalogue all the audio related files that exist on your DAW into one easy 'SampleView'. SampleSort recognises many different files ranging from your project files for Cubase, SONAR, Reaper, Adobe Audition and n-Track etc.. to MIDI files and specific software sampler and software synthesiser files.
Unlike many other audio file management applications SampleSort provides the ability to ignore or include compressed audio such as .MP3 and .WMA files in order to get at the higher quality 'production grade' audio files that you want to concentrate on as a producer for inclusion in your music projects.
Once your machine has been scanned for all related files recognised by SampleSort you can use SampleSort to find specific types of files throughout your sample collection incredibly quickly. Whether that be by file type, bit depth or by a related audio application. The ability to have a more interactive audio specific view onto your hard drives and the files your interested in is a very useful tool to aid your quick workflow.
