Web design is something I've been really interested in for a long time. I've recently moved teams at work into a web application development job using technologies like JavaScript and C# using Microsoft's Visual Studio 2005, 2003 and the .NET framework. All very cool stuff.

At the moment we all getting excited about Visual Studio 2008 and what Silverlight promises us as web developers and general geeks. Having C# code being processed on the client side could be all we have been waiting for!!

Could this spell the end of cross browser issues and provide a truly platform independent experience for developers AND users?! We can only hope!
