Not an awful lot to say about this installation really. It's a total no-brainer. Just screws into the chassis braces through the inner two front and rear skid plate mounting holes. There are a load of different skid plates available and the one in the picture below is the offering from Aluminium one from Fastrax (CML Distribution).

Its worth having a good look around at skit plates as there are a load of offer from a stack of different manufacturers to choose from. On reflection I might actually swap this one for a plastic jobby that fits a bit more snugly into the Savage. The one that I liked the look of was from RPM. Its made of plastic so its also going to be slightly lighter and there are no 'lips' jutting from the bottom as it fits snug in-between the front and rear skid plates.
