This video shows us the path of the asteroid called Apophis. We're sat 4000m above its surface gazing at the Sun while we take a trip around our star. Yup, this is an earth crossing object ... scary shit people. This video is even better at showing just how incredible it is that we haven't been hit by more stuff more often than we apparently have. This is not a particularly unusual orbit either, there are a massive number of object doing similar things around the Sun.
