So I’ve just started to really learn Blender. I remember opening it up a few years ago and getting thoroughly confused by it all and then closed it again. Seems that is a VERY common story all in all. Anyway, I’ve been working through a number of tutorials over the last few weeks and have been getting some really nice results all in all. Now that I’ve gotten to grips with the basics of modelling, rendering and the UI I’ve decided to work on materials next. In order to build my own library of materials and textures I created a nice infinity cove with a set of some basic lights and so on. Thought I’d share it here.
